MINORS POLICY

At www.somfestival.es, we are committed to the safety and protection of minors both in the digital environment and during their attendance at our festival. Therefore, in compliance with current regulations and with the aim of ensuring their protection, we have established a minors policy that allows minors to attend the festival under the conditions described below.

 

  1. General

 

This minors policy establishes the rules and regulations regarding the attendance of minors at the Music Festival in Castellón, Valencia. The objective of this policy is to ensure a safe and appropriate environment for all attendees, including minors, and to comply with current local and national regulations.

 

  1. Definition of Minors

 

For the purposes of this policy, a minor is defined as any individual who has not reached 18 years of age on the date of the event.

 

  1. Attendance of Minors at the Festival

 

Attendance at the festival is allowed for individuals of any age, taking into account the following requirements:

 

3.1 Children under 3 years old

 

Children under 3 years old may access the festival free of charge; however, they will not be allocated a seat unless a paid ticket is purchased for them.

 

They must be accompanied at all times by their parent, guardian, or legal guardian.

 

Both the parents, guardians, or legal guardians and the child must carry their ID card or passport with them, in case the festival staff requests it to verify their identity. In the case of foreigners, they must provide the relevant documents from their country of origin.

 

3.2 Children under 14 years old

 

Individuals under 14 years old may attend the festival by purchasing the corresponding ticket and provided they are accompanied by their parents or a legal guardian. Legal guardians must carry documentation proving their status as such.

 

The parent, guardian, or legal guardian must sign an access and responsibility document for minors, available in the Minors Policy section of www.somfestival.es, in which they take responsibility for the minor while they are in the festival venue. The minor must carry the personal information document for cases of loss, which is included in the downloadable authorization. Additionally, they must have a valid ticket and accompany the minor inside the venue at all times.

3.3 Children under 16 years old

 

Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult (over 18 years old) at all times during the event. The responsible adult must be a parent, guardian, legal guardian, or direct family member. A maximum of 3 minors per responsible adult is allowed.

3.4 Minors aged 16 and 17

 

Young people aged 16 and 17 can access the festival without being accompanied by an adult, but they must present a signed authorization from their parent, guardian, or legal guardian, along with a photocopy of the ID card or identification document of the responsible person signing the authorization.

 

  1. Identification

 

Both minors and accompanying adults must carry valid official identification with a photograph (such as ID card, passport, or identification card) that shows their date of birth. The event organizers reserve the right to request such identification at any time during the festival.

 

  1. Restricted Areas

 

Certain areas of the festival may have age restrictions for security or other reasons. Minors will not be allowed access to these areas and must be accompanied by their responsible adult at all times if they are near these restricted areas.

 

  1. Alcohol and Tobacco Consumption

 

The consumption and purchase of alcohol and tobacco by minors at the festival are strictly prohibited. Event staff and vendors may request identification documents at any time to verify the age of attendees.

 

  1. Safety and Well-being

 

Responsible adults must ensure the safety and well-being of the minors under their care at all times during the festival. The event organizers are not responsible for the supervision of minors. SUMMER OF MUSIC FESTIVAL CASTELLO AIE does not assume responsibility for the supervision of minors during their stay on the premises. The custody, supervision, and appropriate behavior of minors are the direct responsibility of their parents, guardians, or legal guardians.

 

  1. Non-compliance with the Policy

 

Failure to comply with this minors policy may result in expulsion from the event, without the right to a refund, both for the minor and the responsible adult.

 

  1. Changes to the Policy

 

The organizers of the Music Festival in Castellón reserve the right to modify this policy at any time as required by circumstances or applicable legislation.
